Australia Day at Araluen

January 25 - January 28

Leigh and I thought it was about time the RRC returned to Araluen, so I am proposing a base-camp style of trip from Thursday 25 Jan to Sunday 28 January 2024 at our place at Nobby’s Island, Araluen.

As before, numbers are unlimited, and although the coming drought may make camping a little hot, the river should still be in good nick for swimming and water frolics. I will also run a couple of one-day trips involving frequent and very pretty river crossings and some spectacular mountain tracks.  This is gold and bush ranger country.

The road into the campsite is OK for caravans with a bit of clearance and showers and toilets are available in the house.
