HISTORIC LAND ROVER WEEK at Paxina

Over the last 15 years, there has been a gathering of Historic Land Rovers over a weekend at the property of LROCS, LROCV, LRSOC and RRC NSW members, Patrick and Margaret Sutcliffe near Lithgow. Due to the 70th Anniversary celebrations at Cooma, it was postponed from its usual time of March to November and has been extended to a week-long event in honour of the occasion.

Although the primary focus will be on Series vehicles with leaf springs, other Land Rover enthusiasts are welcome, including our Club members.

The property has good bush camping and is about 44 kilometres north of Lithgow in NSW. Two bush toilets are provided, but there are no other facilities. Access to the site is possible for camper trailers towed by a proper 4WD (i.e., with low ratio and high clearance), but NOT caravans. Wood for campfires is available.

Day trips are planned to places of interest nearby, including a motorkhana.

People intending to come must register beforehand and on arrival. Contact Mark Roddick at landytragic@gmail.com or 0408 266 662.
