Temora Airfield

I’m running a Lifestyle Trip to the Temora Aviation Museum for the Showcase Program featuring the Spitfire, Hudson, Boomerang, Ryan and P40 on Saturday 4 Feb. This is not the humungous Warbirds Air Show with 24,000 visitors, 17,000 of them camping, but a more casual and relaxed look at just a few aircraft. Last time I went, I guess there were about 500 people so everything is more manageable.

We’ll leave Friday morning for the run down the motorway to Temora via Binalong and Harden, dinner at a local club, and camping at the airfield tourist park. The Showcase is on Saturday 10 AM – 4 PM and we’ll do dinner again at a local establishment with another night at the airfield. On Sunday, we’ll drive back to Sydney via Young, Cowra and Oberon. Pet, camper and kid friendly.

For more information or to register for the trip, contact Peter at vp@rangeroverclubnsw.asn.au giving yourself time to book your own accommodation at the airfield.
